If I break this oath of confidence I understand that I may - at the discretion of the High Priest - face the wrath of the Stone of Thanatos.
*Not bad secrets like The Church of England and the Catholic Church keep. Good secrets. Secrets which are kept in order to grow the capacity and nurture the quality of the public imagination.

How We Spend your Subscriptions
The initial focus will be on releasing our High Priest from ‘freedom-to-starve’ wage labour (i.e. the three and a half days a week he spends driving a van). That way he can devote himself fully to CoB. This is the first step in an ambitious plan to get the world burning its money. This involves;
Development work on The Record of Burn.
Promoting CoB and growing our congregation.
Producing more CoB Theatre events.
Developing CoB’s Festival events.
Forming CoB as a charity and registering with the Charity Commission.
Going to the USA to burn the mighty $.

Most people take out a paid subscription simply to support our High Priest, our Church and its Mission. And just like in a ‘traditional’ Church, The Vestry is the place where you have the ear of the Priest, where you can meaningfully contribute to the Church’s mission and where you get behind-the-scenes access. Priority Event Access: You'll be the first to know about our paid events and get priority ticket access. We’re eager to do more of our infamous theatre events. Having built up quite a head of steam since our last one, we expect to sell out quickly. Joining The Vestry is the best way to help make these events happen - and to ensure you're there with us.
Advance Notice of Pilgrimage: Everyone is welcome to join with us on the Pilgrimage - so long as they are respectful of both our Ritual and the places of worship. However, only paid subscribers to The Vestry will get confirmation of the time, date and place of the next ritual point.
Participation in the Pilgrimage Narrative: Paid subscribers to The Vestry are encouraged to actively participate in uncovering and narrating our ancestors’ sacred practices with money; sacrifices that shaped the old world and helped create our own.
Exclusive Art/Merchandise: Over the years we’ve worked with artists such as the late Jamie Reid, the late Pete Loveday, Mark Wagner, CK Wilde, Justine Smith, Gig Depio, Stacey Lee Weber and many more. We’ve sold art at our events and online. In 2025, we’ll expand our offerings to include original and limited edition fine art. As a Vestry member, you get first dibs.
Archive Access: The Vestry hosts the majority of Rev Jonathan’s writing on money, money burning and Church of Burn. If you want to engage intellectually with the ritual sacrifice of money - whether as an academic, journalist, or simply in a personal capacity - you’ll need access to these writings.
Weekly Updates & Live Streams: News from The Vestry is recorded and released every Tuesday, hosted by Revd Jonathan. We also host occasional live streams, where you can join the conversation in real-time. The Vestry is where parishioners engage directly, make offers of advice and assistance and help formulate and enact our Church's plans for public engagement.

Offer work in lieu. Tell us what you can contribute (e.g. Social Media Team, Help at Events, Expertise etc). We’re more likely to take you seriously if you’re active on our social media accounts or on our Substack Notes.
